· Phuket Chinese New Year Day and Phuket Old Town Festival 2011 on 8 – 10 Feb. 2011
Chinese New Year and Phuket Old Town Festival is an annual event held to promote tourism in Old Phuket Town. Sino-Portuguese buildings is the Phuket’s original architecture as unique and valuable heritage of the island.
This year, the event will be held on February 8th-10th 2011, in the area of Old Phuket Town: the Queen Sirikit Park (near TAT Phuket), Thalang Road, Soi Rommanee, Krabi Road, Phang Nga Road, and Thepkrasatri Road.
Many free activities in the event including an Old Phuket Town Photo Competition, light & sound shows, local food and souvenir stalls, stage performances from Phuket and China, Ko Jan traditional boats.
